Crockett Calls Out the Hypocrisy Behind Melania Trump’s Questionable “Einstein Visa”

 

Democratic rising star Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett took direct aim at MAGA First Lady Melania Trump for entering the U.S. on an “Einstein visa,” despite having no truly notable accomplishments. “It doesn’t take an Einstein to see that the math ain’t mathin’ here,” Crockett quipped, triggering a wave of fury in MAGA circles.

During a House Judiciary hearing, Crockett didn’t mince words. “Let’s get back to what this hearing is supposed to address: the idea that Trump and my Republican colleagues are restoring integrity and security to the visa process is actually a joke,” she declared.

She continued, “Integrity is not about grabbing lawful visa holders off the street and tossing them into unmarked vans. Integrity isn’t revoking visas because social media posts hurt someone’s delicate feelings when young people criticize Trump or his administration. We have this thing called free speech in America.”

“And since we’re all suddenly concerned about integrity,” she added, “I’m wondering why my Republican colleagues haven’t raised any questions about the president’s family’s visas.”

“Let’s be clear: Melania Trump, the First Lady, a model—and I’m not talking Tyra Banks, Naomi Campbell, or Cindy Crawford level here—applied for and received an EB-1 visa,” Crockett explained. “That’s what they call the ‘Einstein visa.’”

“For anyone who doesn’t know, here’s how you get an Einstein visa: you’re expected to have major achievements—winning a Nobel Prize or Pulitzer, earning an Olympic medal, or showing sustained, extraordinary ability in science, arts, education, business, or athletics,” she said.

“Last I checked, the First Lady didn’t have any of those credentials,” she concluded. “It doesn’t take an Einstein to see this doesn’t add up.”

Crockett also warned that Republican moves to slash visas, impose travel bans, and revoke permits undermines national security and damages America’s future. “These actions threaten our communities, higher education, and our economy,” she said. “Visas like the thoroughly vetted J Visas for higher education and M Visas for trade training bring in the next generation of innovators, medical professionals, researchers, and educators who make America stronger.”

Conservatives wasted no time lashing out. The New York Post accused Crockett of regularly using “incendiary rhetoric,” while random X users called her “jealous” of Melania. Fox News aired a breathless segment with a MAGA congressman who proclaimed he would never “dare” question Melania and urged Americans to “ignore” Crockett’s comments.

The reality is, MAGA supporters don’t care whether Melania’s immigration process was truly above board—because she’s on their side. They’re eager to weaponize immigration laws to go after their political rivals but insist Republicans remain above scrutiny. In their eyes, Melania could never be seen as an “illegal immigrant” because she’s white.
