Kremlin Connections and Internal Sabotage: MAGA Official’s Ties Raise Alarming National Security Questions

Donald Trump Ensnared in Kremlin-Linked Scandal After MAGA Official Exposed

Donald Trump is facing a devastating scandal as explosive revelations expose that a senior MAGA official—who dismantled the U.S. government’s leading anti-Russian disinformation unit—has direct ties to Kremlin-linked figures.

This is a shocking betrayal of American national security.

According to The Telegraph, Darren Beattie raised alarm bells when he was appointed Acting Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs. Known for his unabashedly pro-Russia rhetoric, Beattie immediately set his sights on dismantling the Counter Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (CFIMI) office—a key agency in the fight against Russian propaganda.

Beattie has reportedly taken an unusual interest in classified material related to Russia, sparking “widespread concern” among national security officials about his access to sensitive intelligence.

Disturbingly, Beattie is married to Yulia Kirillova, whose uncle, Sergei Chernikov, has held various positions in Russian political and business circles. Chernikov once received a personal note of thanks from Vladimir Putin himself—for his role in helping Putin win his first election.

It gets worse. Beattie has spent years posting openly pro-Kremlin messages online. He has suggested that Western institutions should be “infiltrated” and “controlled” by Putin, praised the Russian dictator as “brave and strong,” and even claimed Putin has done “more to advance conservative positions in the U.S. than any Republican.”

Beattie also declared: “NATO is a much greater threat to American liberty than Putin ever was,” and celebrated the idea of America’s global influence declining, mocking national security officials for being unable to stop Putin's aggression.

Just before Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he wrote: “Imagine the whining from the Globalist American Empire if Putin ‘invades’ Ukraine… I love it when our national security bureaucrats fail!”

As if this weren’t alarming enough, Beattie has also amplified pro-China rhetoric. He has argued that China should be allowed to annex Taiwan and called the United Kingdom a “sewage pit” that would be “better off under Chinese dominion.”

Let’s be clear: this is no ordinary political extremist—this is someone actively undermining American interests from within our own government.

Beattie previously worked in the Trump administration but was fired in 2018 after reportedly attending a white nationalist conference. He re-emerged during Trump’s second campaign and quietly married into a family with direct ties to the Russian elite.

While Republicans have tried to dismiss Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation as a “witch hunt,” the facts tell a different story. Mueller uncovered disturbing links between Trump’s circle and the Kremlin—links that Republicans continue to ignore or enable. That Mueller didn’t find enough evidence to indict Trump doesn’t mean Trump was exonerated.

Darren Beattie must be removed from government immediately. He must be fully investigated and, if appropriate, prosecuted. And the anti-disinformation unit he dismantled must be restored without delay.

America cannot afford to let Kremlin sympathizers sabotage our democracy from within.
