Donald Trump took to Truth Social with a weak post that didn’t address the serious allegations after billionaire Elon Musk publicly accused him of being "in the Epstein files."
Many have suspected this about Trump for a long time.
Trump wrote, “I don’t mind Elon turning against me, but he should have done so months ago. This is one of the greatest bills ever presented to Congress — a record cut in expenses, $1.6 trillion dollars, and the biggest tax cut ever given. If this bill doesn’t pass, there will be a 68% tax increase, and things far worse than that. I didn’t create this mess, I’m just here to fix it. This puts our country on a path of greatness. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
Notably, Trump did not deny or even mention the Epstein allegations, perhaps fearing that acknowledging them would only add fuel to the fire. We already know he was associated with Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted billionaire pedophile, and Trump himself has been accused and admitted to predatory sexual behavior.
Elon Musk dropped a bombshell on X, writing, “Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That’s the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”
This accusation came amid escalating tensions, with Trump threatening to cut subsidies and contracts for Musk’s companies during the billionaire’s ongoing opposition to Trump’s “big, beautiful bill.”
Contrary to Trump’s praise, this bill is among the most harmful legislation in recent U.S. history. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office projects it will cause nearly 11 million Americans to lose health insurance over the next decade. Meanwhile, it inflates the Pentagon’s budget past $1 trillion, cuts taxes by $3.7 trillion benefiting the wealthy, and adds $2.4 trillion to the deficit.
Congress must reject this bill and urgently investigate Donald Trump’s connections to Jeffrey Epstein. If Elon Musk’s claim is true—that a pedophile is tied to the White House—then Trump must be impeached, prosecuted, and held accountable immediately.
