Lara Trump Teases More Jeffrey Epstein Files in New Interview

Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump, said in a new interview that more information related to the Jeffrey Epstein case could be released—following backlash from Trump’s own base over a recent Department of Justice memo.

In a conversation with conservative host Benny Johnson, Lara Trump said the president is aware of the growing anger from his supporters and is committed to “setting things right.” She added, “There needs to be more transparency… I believe there will be more coming.”

Her comments come after the DOJ confirmed earlier this month that Epstein died by suicide in 2019—reaffirming the findings of earlier investigations. The memo further stated that no “client list” exists and that no additional information would be made public. These conclusions have reignited long-held conspiracy theories within pro-Trump circles, where many believe Epstein was murdered to protect powerful elites.

The backlash has been especially fierce among Trump’s MAGA supporters. Some felt betrayed by the administration after previously being told that a full release of Epstein-related files was imminent. Earlier this year, Attorney General Pam Bondi told the press that “tens of thousands” of videos existed and implied that an Epstein “client list” was real and under review.

Adding to the tension, the DOJ’s recent statement directly contradicts Bondi’s earlier comments. That contradiction sparked new criticism online and even created friction inside the administration. Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino—a longtime Trump ally who has publicly doubted the suicide finding—is reportedly considering resignation in protest, according to CNN and NBC News.

Despite public frustration, the White House says there is no intent to withhold critical information. Lara Trump emphasized that the administration hears the concerns: “They understand it. They hear it. There’s no plot to keep this away.”

However, when asked about the issue during a cabinet meeting, President Trump appeared dismissive: “Are people still talking about this guy, this creep?” He suggested other issues, like the Texas floods, deserved more focus.

Still, prominent voices on the far right remain unconvinced. Alex Jones called the DOJ memo “over-the-top sickening,” and political commentator Laura Loomer accused Bondi of cowardice for not signing her name to the document.

Whether more documents will be released remains unclear. But as frustration mounts among MAGA influencers and internal rifts deepen, the Epstein case continues to be a politically volatile topic—even inside Trump’s inner circle.

  1. There is no transparency. There is only strategic moves to shut up the controversy while perpetuating trump lies.

  2. We have a right to protect victims and hear the evidence of who was involved in this case. It is difficult to believe that our system only works for the rich good old boys who have always gotten away With bad criminal behavior! Sexual crime is the worst against vulnerable young people! I want them held accountable! Our system requires that! Our Supreme court needs to stand up and do their jobs! They are appointed to uphold the laws and not be bipartisan! They are our only chance in keeping this country a democracy. Congress only favors the rich and have no idea how the average American really struggles to get by.
