On Saturday, former President Donald Trump unleashed a chaotic and conspiracy-filled rant on Truth Social, addressing the escalating scandal surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein case and defending Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is now under fire from Trump’s own MAGA base.
Trump, in typical fashion, used his post to lash out at critics, shift blame to past political opponents, and promote a series of debunked or unrelated conspiracy theories—all while dismissing renewed questions about his connections to Epstein as politically motivated distractions.
“What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’” Trump wrote. “They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB!”
The comment came amid a backlash from conservative voters after Bondi’s Justice Department claimed that:
- The Epstein client list "does not exist."
- There’s “no evidence” of a blackmail ring.
- There is “no reason” to believe Epstein was murdered.
These claims contradict Bondi’s earlier public statement that the list was on her desk awaiting review—raising suspicions not only among political opponents but even among MAGA loyalists.
🤯 Trump Connects Epstein Files to Obama, Clinton, and “The Laptop From Hell”
In what many critics described as an unhinged tirade, Trump claimed the Epstein files were fabricated by a familiar list of supposed enemies: Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, James Comey, and John Brennan.
“They created the Epstein Files, just like they created the FAKE Hillary Clinton/Christopher Steele Dossier,” Trump wrote, before veering into old territory: “the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax,” the 51 intelligence agents letter, and the Hunter Biden laptop.
He went on to suggest that these same unnamed forces are attempting to sabotage the “perfect” MAGA administration, and that Bondi’s critics are playing into the hands of “the Left.”
🧨 Bondi's Claims Ignite GOP Backlash
Pam Bondi, once a close Trump ally and now his hand-picked Attorney General, has come under increasing scrutiny as the Epstein investigation continues. Her department’s assertion that no client list exists directly contradicts what multiple other officials and media outlets have hinted at.
Bondi also faces heat for stating there’s “no reason” to believe Epstein was murdered—despite the fact that more than half of Americans across political lines believe otherwise.
Even some of Trump’s usual supporters have taken to social media demanding transparency and accountability. Trump, clearly unnerved, warned against “selfish people” trying to hurt the movement “over a guy who never dies.”
🔥 The Real State of the MAGA Administration
In the same post, Trump painted a picture of a flourishing America under his leadership—claiming that his administration has fixed the economy, secured the border, and achieved “energy dominance.” However, critics and economists point out:
- Tariffs have worsened global trade tensions and increased consumer prices.
- Immigration raids and mass deportations have been criticized as cruel and ineffective.
- Trump’s energy policy slashed key investments in clean technology.
- Most recently, he signed a bill slashing $1 trillion from Medicaid, a move public health experts warn will have devastating long-term consequences.
Despite these outcomes, Trump maintains his administration is “about to achieve more in 6 months than any other Administration has achieved in over 100 years.”
🧩 Why Is Trump So Defensive About Epstein?
Trump’s Truth Social rant concluded with him insisting that “nobody cares about” Epstein and questioning why the issue keeps surfacing.
“Let’s keep [America] the hottest country in the world, and not waste Time and Energy on Jeffrey Epstein, somebody that nobody cares about,” he wrote.
The irony of that claim is hard to miss: if “nobody cared,” Trump likely wouldn’t have written a lengthy, defensive, conspiracy-laden post about it. It’s clear that the Epstein case is not going away—and that Trump knows it.
Even some of his allies are speculating. Tech mogul Elon Musk recently amplified suspicions that Trump may appear in the sealed Epstein-related files—speculation that gains more traction each time Trump brings it up unprompted.
