Over the past week, online speculation surged about President Donald Trump’s health, with some even suggesting that he was being hidden from public view due to a serious illness or worse. These rumors gained traction after several days when the President had no public appearances and was absent from his official schedule.
The speculation intensified when observers noticed unexplained bruising on his hand in earlier appearances. By the weekend, questions about his health reached a peak, with social media users wondering why the White House seemed unusually quiet. At one point, reporters even noted loud music coming from the West Wing, prompting curiosity about whether it signaled the President’s presence.
The rumors were put to rest on Saturday when photographers captured Trump leaving the White House in a motorcade with his grandchildren, heading for a golf outing. While this sighting silenced claims of his disappearance, it also reignited conversations comparing his health to that of President Joe Biden, whose well-being was often scrutinized during his time in office.
Later, Trump personally addressed the speculation on Truth Social, writing in all caps: “Never felt better in my life.” He also referenced his controversial move to federalize Washington D.C.’s police force and call in the National Guard, further fueling discussion online.
Supporters like conservative commentator Rogan O’Handley dismissed the health rumors, framing them as a double standard compared to the scrutiny Biden faced. However, the public continues to focus on visible signs, such as a dark bruise on Trump’s hand, which was recently covered with makeup during a meeting with the South Korean leader.
Medical experts have confirmed that Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a condition that affects blood flow through the veins. While CVI is not considered life-threatening, it can cause discomfort and complications if left unmanaged. In severe cases, doctors warn it could even lead to amputation, though this is rare.
For now, Trump has strongly rejected the health speculation, insisting that he feels well and remains active. Yet, as with many public figures, any small sign of change in appearance or schedule is likely to keep fueling rumors online.
Karma is catching up with him.
